Creating web trade catalogues and online shops directly from Sage Line 50.

Sage Line 50, the UK's most popular accounting software, now stores extra details about your stock items that can be used to upload directly to a web site. We build online ordering catalogues or shop systems that wait for the data to be uploaded. We build search features ready for the data to arrive but take no further part. The client simply manages the data and the upload. And then takes the orders! Here is how it works:

Step 1: Sage Line 50's Product Record screen stores information about each of your products. The 'Web' tab is especially useful and can store useful extra data and carry a suitable product picture if required.

Step 2: Run a Sage report (we can supply one) to export this product data to a file. (You easily can select or filter only those products you want to upload).

Here is an example CSV file that Sage creates. We use this one for our example on our web site.

Step 3: Upload to your web server (use FTP or we can provide an upload button)
all the images you have in your Sage product system.

Step 4: Login to the web catalogue built by us and upload your data using the
simple form provided. (You can choose to copy over all existing data or simply add new.)

Step 5: No more steps-but here is the result - just wait for the orders to come in!
